ILTN are running an online Vibeathon for India’s legal community.
Build a tool that addresses a real legal problem, contracts, compliance, legal research, access to justice, court processes, law firm operations, or something you have wanted for two years that nobody has built yet.
Build it entirely using an AI-assisted vibe-coding platform, or use one as part of the development process. Simple or complex does not matter. It has to work, solve a problem that someone actually faces, and be worth showing.
No traditional coding experience is required. That is the point. The people who know which legal problems are worth solving are often those who have never opened a terminal.
Submissions opens on 21 August 2026 and close on 11 September at 5:00 PM IST. Shortlisted builders will demonstrate their tools live during the last week of September, and the winners will be announced that same week.
This is an educational, community-driven initiative. India’s legal community has spent two years talking about AI. This is the part where we build something.
Registrations
The Vibeathon is open to Indian nationals only. All team members must be Indian nationals, and every team must include at least one lawyer, in-house counsel, or law student.
Developers, designers, and legal operations professionals are welcome to join, but the legal problem should come from someone who experiences it firsthand.
It is free to enter and teams may have one to four members.
