About the Project

PrivacyLawHub is a free platform designed to make privacy, data protection and AI law easier to learn, research and apply. It brings laws, regulatory guidance, detailed commentary, practical resources, examinations, compliance tools and AI assistance into one place, so users do not have to search across multiple websites or pay for basic resources.

What does the platform offer? GDPR Knowledge Hub: It brings all 99 GDPR Articles, 173 Recitals and 30+ EDPB Guidelines together, with 2,000+ words of commentary for each Article. This helps users understand what the law says, why each provision matters and how it applies in practice. **DPDP Act & Rules: **The DPDP Act, 2023 and DPDP Rules are available together with 2,000+ words of detailed commentary. This gives students, lawyers and businesses one place to learn India's privacy framework and understand its practical compliance requirements. Global Privacy & AI Laws: The platform brings privacy and AI laws from around the world into one section, with the Global AI Law section currently covering 70+ jurisdictions. This helps users understand how different countries regulate privacy and artificial intelligence and makes comparative legal research easier. Privacy Policy Templates: The platform provides practical privacy policy and compliance templates, giving businesses a useful starting point for understanding and preparing privacy documentation. Free CIPP/E, CIPM and AIGP Practice Tests: Users can take simulated certification tests free of cost, instead of paying around $45 for individual practice papers. This makes professional privacy certification preparation more accessible, particularly for students and early-career professionals. **DPDPA Exam: **Since there is currently no dedicated CIPP India certification, I have developed a DPDPA examination at a comparable level of competence, focused on testing genuine knowledge of the law and its theoretical foundations rather than simple recall. It gives users an opportunity to assess how well they actually understand the DPDP framework. DPDPA Compliance Checker: Businesses can conduct a preliminary assessment of their privacy compliance and identify potential gaps. This can help them understand their basic compliance position before engaging a privacy practitioner. It can also help reduce the initial cost of compliance assessment, where professional preliminary assessments can cost $400–$500 or more. **Privacy GPT: **Privacy GPT is an AI-powered privacy and AI-law assistant that allows users to ask questions in plain English and receive AI-assisted legal guidance. It is trained on real privacy-law documents and source materials, helping users navigate complex privacy and AI regulations more efficiently. The long-term aim is to develop Privacy GPT into a comprehensive research assistant covering privacy and AI laws across 150 jurisdictions, with jurisdiction-specific research and comparative analysis.

My vision

PrivacyLawHub is built around one simple idea: privacy and AI law should be easier, more practical and more affordable to access.
