Gaveli is a case management platform for Indian law firms and advocates. It automatically tracks case status and hearing dates across the Supreme Court, High Courts, District Courts, DRT/DRAT, NCLT/NCLAT, and the Consumer Court hierarchy, so lawyers don't have to manually check court websites or rely on clerks for updates.
Coverage is nationwide, not a pilot subset. Gaveli reaches district court establishments across every state and union territory, all 25 High Courts and their benches, every DRT and DRAT in the country, all NCLT and NCLAT benches, the consumer commissions from District to State to National level, and the Supreme Court.
The advocate high court cause list is where it comes together. Instead of an advocate hunting through a court's daily list to find their own matters, Gaveli clubs every case listed for that advocate on a given day into a single view, paired with the court's live display board. The advocate sees the exact court hall, their serial number for the day, and the item currently being called. Passover cases are surfaced too, so a matter pushed to later in the day doesn't quietly get missed.
Getting a practice onto the platform takes minutes, not weeks. Bulk import brings an entire existing caseload in at once. Cases are then assigned to individual advocates, and each advocate gets their own cause list covering only their matters, with hearing reminders and an Upcoming Cases view showing what's listed next.
Clients get their own portal. A firm shares selected cases with a client, who signs in to a separate client portal to follow those matters. Invoices raised by the firm appear there, and once a client pays, that payment reflects back on the firm's side, closing the loop without a separate billing tool or email chain.
The rest of the practice runs in the same place. Alerts flag what needs attention, from a case status changing to a hearing date being pulled forward. Tasks track the work attached to each matter, and documents sit alongside the case they belong to. A calendar view lays out the firm's listings, while reports and analytics show case load, outcomes, stage-wise distribution and court-wise spread, so a partner can see how the practice is actually running rather than guessing. Expenses are logged against the matter they belong to.
The AI assistant is built for legal research, not bolted-on chat. It works across the firm's own case data, so an advocate can pull up a matter, summarise its history, or ask what is listed tomorrow, referencing any case inline with an @ mention. Alongside that quick mode, a Deep Research mode runs as a background job and returns a written dossier with verified citations. Research runs carry their own source ledger and are resumable, and every citation is checked rather than asserted, so a fabricated authority does not reach the memo. Uploaded case documents are searchable in the same place.
Gaveli was built almost entirely through AI-assisted ("vibe") coding, with the team reviewing, testing, and refining every part of the codebase.
