The apprenticeship model in law has been quietly failing for years. The development of future lawyer's skills is a real concern. With less face time and hybrid working and now the impact of AI, the loop that transfers a partner’s tacit judgement to a junior so they learn through an: attempt → reaction → absorption — is slow, inconsistent, and mostly invisible.

This is how it works:

Users log in and there is a lightweight first-time tutorial to guide Juniors and Partners.

1. Instruction: Partner sets the brief and what 'good' looks like. Junior sees the standard up front.
2. Work: Junior drafts or marks up work. Work can be submitted any time and is coached live by AI against the partner's house style (by voice or text).
3. Supervision: Understudy generates a shared Prep Sheet: the junior's questions on the left, the partner's talking points on the right.
4. Feedback: Partner dictates 15 seconds of raw feedback. It returns as structured developmental coaching filed against skill tags.
5. Mentoring: Growth and blind spots tracked over time. The loop compounds. Scarce partner time lands where it matters most.

AI does the heavy lifting between the human moments, so that the scarce time a partner and junior actually spend together is better prepared, better focused, and better captured.
