About the Project

A tool for people who have to deal with a legal dispute without a lawyer - so-called litigants in person. You describe what happened in plain, everyday language ("my landlord won't fix my broken heater and I want some rent back"), and the assistant organizes your story into a clear, structured legal argument you can actually understand and use. The problem it solves: Most people facing a legal issue can't afford a lawyer, and the law is intimidating, jargon-heavy, and hard to navigate. People often don't know what the relevant law is, which of their facts actually matter, or what's missing from their case. This tool bridges that gap — it turns a messy personal account into an organized argument grounded in real legislation, points out the gaps, and asks the right follow-up questions, all while being explicit that it is not a cuhctitute for a qualified attorney.

Practice Areas

Key Features

Plain-language intake - Type or dictate your story; no legal knowledge required. • Structured argument generation - Your narrative is rebuilt into a clear Issue → Rule → Application → Conclusion (IRAC) structure written for a layperson. • Grounded in real law - Each "rule" is backed by actual legislation (e.g. Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 s.11), with the provision quoted, a confidence level, and a link to the official source. Crucially, it only cites law when genuinely confident - it never makes up a statute. • Clarifying questions - The assistant asks you questions where it needs more: why a seemingly irrelevant fact was mentioned, what the legal grounds of your claim are, and which facts are missing. Your answers feed back in to sharpen the argument. Gap detection - Flags weak spots and missing evidence so you know what to strengthen. • Evidence & readiness tracking — Organize supporting documents and see a readiness score for how prepared your case is. • Verify-the-law safeguards - A persistent "AI-suggested - verify against the official source" nudge on every citation, plus a "this is not legal advice" disclaimer on every page.
