LexConnect

We built this live during a vibecoding demo with students at the University of Sussex. This prototype tackles the Access to Justice challenge by connecting people with pro bono networks, legal aid clinics, and community advocates. As a demo prototype, it shows how you can go from idea to demo app in a couple of prompts. While Matt is submitting it, the idea came from the students.

• Natural language search (with Gemini integration) so users can describe their situation in their own words
• Suggests pro bono networks, legal aid clinics, and community advocates
• Prioritizes equitable access, surfacing non-profit and free resources first
• Location aware, so it suggests relevant options
• Clean, approachable interface designed for people unfamiliar with legal systems
• Works on web and mobile

If anyone has ideas to take this forward to a production use case, please get in touch! One idea is to integrate it with WhatsApp for even more frictionless access.
