In most international arbitrations, lawyers will spend hours assembling a procedural timetable from scratch – cross-referencing institutional rules, calculating interdependent deadlines manually, avoiding blackout dates and bank holidays, considering appropriate intervals and formatting the result for a Procedural Order. When the hearing window shifts (e.g., because of an interim application or new development), the whole exercise starts over.
