PSD3 and PSR implementation, end-to-end

About the Project

This is the regulatory change tool I wished existed when helping clients to understand and implement new laws and regulations. Built initially for the move in EU payments regulation from a directive (implemented in differing local laws) to a new directive plus a regulation, PSD3changes provides a deterministic comparison of each change so you can see what they each mean in context, act on them, and evidence compliance to your board and your regulator.

While the EU provides table cross-referencing old provision numbers to new, neither they nor anybody else provides an easy way to build a comparison. PSD3changes does that, then layers on legal advice and a workflow to enable compliance teams to see, understand, assess and manage regulatory changes end-to-end.

Practice Areas

Key Features

  • Comprehensive comparison of every change from PSD2 and the E-Money Directive to PSD3 and the Payment Services Regulation
  • Advice from an experienced regulatory lawyer on what the changes mean, including tags to show applicability on a per-firm-type basis
  • Workflows for compliance, operations and technology teams to assess how changes affect their business and manage the tasks needed to ensure compliance during the implementation window, with an audit trail to share with regulators

Help Needed

I'd love some feedback from any fellow financial regulation/payments lawyers involved in regulatory change - how useful would something like this be to you and your clients? How could it be more useful? While PSD3 is the first wedge I'm using to enter the market, the tool can support other regulatory change with minimal updates (I spent a lot of time testing with the EU AML Regulation), and sanctions seems like a field in which this might be useful too.
